Dr. Wilbur Larch is a character in the movie The Cider House Rules (1999). Played by Michael Caine, Dr. Larch is an obstetrician and orphanage director who becomes a mentor to the main character, Homer Wells (Tobey Maguire). The film is based on the novel of the same name by John Irving.
